Article 3 Committees
Section 301 Committees. The Board may, by resolution,
designate an Executive Committee and one or more other
committees. Such committees shall have such functions
and may exercise such power of the Board as can be lawfully
delegated, and to the extent provided in the resolution
or resolutions creating such committee or committees.
Meetings of committees may be held without notice at
such time and at such place as shall from time to time
be determined by the committees. The committees of the
corporation shall keep regular minutes of their proceedings,
and report these minutes to the Board when required.
Section 302 Four Categories. The following
four Committee Categories are hereby established: (1)
Client Assistance and Financial Planning (short name
Client Assistance). (2) Education and Employment Opportunities
(short name (Education & Employment). (3) Business
Incubation. (4) Nonprofit Development. Within these
categories sufficient committees will be established
by the Executive Director to handle the volume of applications
received on a timely basis. The Executive Director is
empowered to appoint such persons, assign such duties
and otherwise to do such things as may be necessary
to implement these committees. The Board shall be responsible
to review the overall performance of committees established
and may make such changes as it deems necessary.
