Section 202: Four other paragraphs are intended
to be included in Chimorel’s purpose clause
in the Articles of Incorporation. When appropriate
the Articles of Incorporation may be ammended to this
affect. They are:
1. Chimorel may attempt to meet genuine
personal and financial needs by participating, either
alone or with others, in any activity in which a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization may be involved. This specifically
excludes lobbying, political and other activities
in which a 501(c)(3) organization may not participate.
2. Chimorel will broaden its base of services by developing
referral and catalyst relationships with other agencies
and professionals which can provide education, mental
health, counseling, career planning and other appropriate
services to all persons. These relationships and services
must be consistent with regulations governing 501(c)(3)
charitable organizations and with Chimorel’s
0-4-0SM
philosophy. Chimorel’s 0-4-0SM
philosophy is defined in its Code of Regulations.
3. Chimorel will develop committees to make program
and fund allocation decisions in four strategic areas:
(1) Client Assistance & Financial Planning, (2)
Education and Employment Opportunities, (3) Business
Incubation & Assistance, and (4) Nonprofit Development.
4. Chimorel will receive a fund or funds of real or
personal property or both and, subject to the restrictions
and limitations hereinafter set forth, will use the
whole or any part of income there from and principal
thereof for investments, advances, loans and direct
provision of services designed to further charitable,
religious, scientific, literary and/or educational
purposes. Such use of funds may be made either directly
or through organizations that qualify as exempt organizations
under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
or others who do not conflict with IRS regulations
as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.
