203 Previous Purpose Clauses: The above purpose
clauses supersede the original purpose clauses and
all purpose clauses for all previous amendments. A
summarization of the purpose clauses which have been
replaced is contained below.
(a) On 9/25/72 at the time of original
incorporation Chimorel sought to establish and maintain
youth centers (child care institutions) in accordance
with the rules of the State Department of Public Welfare
and eventually to develop and maintain centers for
medical care, education, research and other purposes
in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agencies.
(b) On 5/31/78 Chimorel’s articles were amended
to provide elderly persons, handicapped persons and
other persons with housing facilities and services
specially designed to meet their physical, social
and psychological needs, and to promote their health,
security, happiness and usefulness in longer living.
The charges for such facilities and services were
to be predicated upon the provision, maintenance and
operation thereof on a nonprofit basis.
(c) On 10/18/84 Chimorel articles were amended to
help people achieve financial then personal goals.
Financial assistance would be provided through advances,
loans, investments, financial planning and other transactions.
Personal assistance would be provided by counseling,
relationships with other agencies and professionals
and a variety of other services.

0-4-0SM
means "nothing
comes for free." Each client is expected to actively
participate in and pay for achieving his/her/its goals
to the extent possible. It is our intention to "teach
people to fish" not "give them a fish."
