Section
303 Nonvoting Members. Nonvoting Members shall
be eight years of age or older and shall have made
application for and some contribution to a specified
type of membership. Nonvoting membership will be given
to organizations where individuals within the organization
apply their personal contributions to a specified
type of voting membership and to an organizational
membership simultaneously.
Section 304 Rights and Expectations of Members
& Clients. Voting Members have the right
to vote, recommendation privileges, client services
and other special opportunities which the Board may
from time to time determine. A client must be a Member
(voting or nonvoting). A Member need not be a client.
Nonvoting Members may receive client services.
Section 305 Definition of Recommendation Privileges.
Recommendation privileges mean that a group of volunteers
or an individual volunteer may recommend which Distribution
Committee will receive the benefit of 50% of all funds
raised by that group or volunteer. The intent of recommendation
privileges is to develop a solid base of support for
programs that our Members and volunteers are concerned
about. Allocations of funds raised by individuals/groups
may go to individuals or organizations the individuals/groups
are concerned about without violating Chimorel's integrity
policy, providing (1) such allocations are within
limits set by the Board, Executive Director or the
appropriate committee and (2) such individual or organization
meets the criteria specified by the appropriate comittee.
