Performance Management Rationale

Performance management is critical to the growth and development for all members of  The Chimorel Group. Each member is to set high standards designed to create, maintain and constantly enhance the provision of superior service to all clients.

Rule 1:
Superior service to each client is our primary outcome.
Rule 2: When in doubt, re-read Rule #1.

Chimorel's mission is to assist motivated individuals to achieve goals, solve problems and to enhance our global productivity. We do this by providing superior service which helps each client set goals, test each goal against reality, design action plans to achieve each goal, and implement each action plan.
Chimorel's performance management starts with the needs of the client, flows through the constantly improving skills of Chimorel's staff, and enables us to achieve our mission. This requires a shared commitment to superior service.
Each member of The Chimorel Group and each person working for a Chimorel member (staff person) needs to develop insight into the needs of the client he/she serves. Each staff person should clearly know where he/she is, where he/she wants to be and determine how he/she is going to get there. Using this self-understanding, the staff person can then help each client he/she works with to undertake a similar journey. All Chimorel members must develop together the management strategies and systems to enable each client, each staff person and each Chimorel member to achieve its goals.
Each staff person and each client is to be treated with fairness, dignity and respect. Discrimination and stereotypical assumptions are to be avoided. Each staff person, and where appropriate each client, is to have equal opportunity to achieve his/her potential through agreed objectives, access to professional development or training, and assessment of his/her performance. The only limiting factors are to be the commitment the staff person/client makes and the resources the staff person/client develops to cover the cost involved. The process starts with the needs of the staff person/client, then flows from the resources developed by the person, to achieve each person's goals.
