     So let's test reality for a minute. What is it you want your idea to do for you? Make lots of money? Give you more time with your family? Allow you to be your own boss? It usually takes two years or more to get your idea from concept to cash in the bank and growing. Depending on habits like procrastination and spending patterns it could take a lot more time or be totally unrealistic for you. For sometime you will probably make less than you could at a "regular job." More time with the family? Maybe a lot less time with the family. When you are your own boss, you also are the janitor, bookkeeper, chief negotiator, design engineer and marketing guru. Did you hire the right person for the job? Or does Uncle Sam pay you a visit in a couple of years, because you forgot to send him the taxes that needed to be withheld?
