Chimorel volunteers are very special people and they
earn special rewards. One of the most powerful rewards
you receive as a Chimorel volunteer is your Recommendation
Priviledge.
In certain
programs, a Chimorel "volunteer" can use his/her
time to "pay" part or all of the tuition,
a fee for the program or rent on an apartment. These
programs include "I Got a Job," "Client
Assistance," "College Bound," "Goal
Setting," "7*3*5 Program," "Work
for Rent," "Rent to Own," and others.
When you exchange your "volunteer time"
for something it is actually taxable compensation. For
example, in our Work for Rent program, taxes are withheld
and worker's compensation is paid as part of the compensation
covering your rent.
In other
programs Chimorel volunteers help tell the Chimorel
story, raise funds for their church or favorite charity,
and do many other things to help people. When they do
these things they earn Chimorel bucks which can pay
for memberships, programs and things they want to buy.
When you choose to receive something it may be taxable
income to an individual, but when it helps your favorite
charity affiliated with Chimorel it is not taxable.
We look forward
to working with you as a Chimorel volunteer and giving
you all the special rewards you earn.
